The City of Opatija co-finances new or upgraded systems for the use of renewable energy sources (RES) installed in the last 36 months.

Objective of the call

  • Encouraging citizens to use renewable energy sources (RES) in existing buildings in the City of Opatija.
  • The City co-finances previously installed or upgraded RES systems implemented in the last 36 months.

Who can apply

  • Owners or co-owners of buildings in Opatija.
  • Buildings must have a legally installed RES system (new or upgraded) that is operational.
  • The applicant must have a registered residence in the City of Opatija.

What is co-financed

  1. Biomass boiler (wood chips, pellets or pyrolytic wood boiler)
  2. Heat pump for heating, cooling or domestic hot water (GWP ≤ 2150)
  3. Solar thermal collectors
  4. Photovoltaic power plants (for own consumption - on-grid or off-grid)

Co-financing amount

  • Up to 40% of eligible costs including VAT
  • Maximum €2,000 per beneficiary
  • System and installation costs are covered

Deadline and application procedure

  • Application deadline: 30 days from the publication date (from 4 November 2025)
  • Applications accepted until funds are exhausted
  • In case of equal score, earlier applications take priority

Municipality of Voćin - Energy Efficiency Co-financing 2025

Co-financing of citizens' projects to increase energy efficiency of family houses in the Municipality of Voćin, supported by the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (EPEEF).

Objective of the call

  • Co-financing of citizens' projects to increase energy efficiency of family houses in the Municipality of Voćin.
  • The project is implemented with support from the EPEEF.
  • Total municipal funds for 2025: €5,000.00

Who can apply

  • Natural persons with residence in the Municipality of Voćin.
  • The applicant must have an approved and disbursed project from the Fund and a completed investment.

What is co-financed

The municipality co-finances up to 10% of the total amount approved by the Fund, up to a maximum of €1,327.22 per project.

Application procedure and deadline

  • Applications are submitted in person or by registered post to the Municipality address.
  • Deadline: until funds are exhausted or by 31 December 2025 at the latest.
